Staff great; mostly clean, had to dry some dishes; bathtub with mat was so slippery, I fell and hit the back of my head on the back edge of the tub; for the price, they should have provided breakfast of some kind, instead of cereal (no milk for said cereal) as well as the rest of the overpriced food offered; most offensive was bad mouthing Booking com,... who we booked through, not knowing we were still members of IHG.. telling us they overcharge, then pocket the money, which in our opinion is very unprofessional, then repeatedly telling us "I don't lie, I don't lie"! Told him we never thought he did. We stayed here two years ago and loved it. Always telling friends it was THE place to stay. At any rate, we probably won't stay here again. We will look for a different IHG hotel. Maybe he was overworked or something, and If he sees this review, he would probably deny us anyway.

I didn’t know they had a breakfast, they had some things you could purchase for breakfast, but coffee was all I ever saw that was complimentary. It was a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly, we never heard a peep from anyone, the tubs were clean, the floors were clean. I loved that we were able to wash our clothes in the guest laundry at no charge, we never even asked housekeeping for anything, because we washed towels as well as our own clothes. The kitchen was equipt with enough pots, pans, silverware, plates, etc. The second day we were there, I made a small enchilada casserole. I loved staying at the Lake Jackson location.
